Thats all that was necessary – a bunch of numbers changed, but Bethesda and Todd fucked up even that. Sneak attacks have x15 multiplier for daggers and x10 for bows. Enemies benefit from that too so combat is ever lethal. So that at 100str and 100skill you can do excess of 200 damage and nearly 500 with power attacks. You know how even with hardcap i negated the issue? Changed values in game settings. In a game that can make a goblin warlord with 1440hp should player encounter one at lvl 40, because those scale by 24hp per player level and you start encountering them after lvl 24. Sneak attacks cap out at x4 for daggers/shortswords.

In any case, damage is very very lacking, with dealing 32 damage with daedric claymore at 100 strength and 100 blade skill.

I think only athletics and acrobatics and a third utility skill (speechcraft?) provide increased effects past 100. Most stats and most skills provide no benefits past 100, because 100 is a hardcap. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. Strength and agility contribute very little to the weapon damage. I was really liking Natural Leveling until then, but now i am discouraged from using any XP mods. Issue is not as much with leveling or level scaling but with how your char’s stats affect one.
